Tasiana Shirley is an Inuk entrepreneur from Iqaluit, Nunavut, and the CEO of Tuttarvik Consulting Inc., where she represents the majority Inuit-owned entity with 51% ownership. Tasiana is instrumental in making key strategic decisions that reflect and prioritize the values and needs of Nunavut’s Inuit communities.

Tasiana’s leadership extends far beyond the corporate sphere. She is dedicated to ensuring that the company’s operations, services, and growth align with the cultural and economic aspirations of Inuit people in Nunavut. With a background in business operations and experience working within the Government of Nunavut, Tasiana has invaluable insights into the unique challenges faced by businesses in the North. She has contributed to numerous initiatives that uplift Inuit entrepreneurs, including co-managing her family’s Inuit arts boutique, Malikkaat, and establishing KAAPITAARVIK, Nunavut’s first drive-thru coffee shop. This venture promotes KAAPITTIAQ coffee beans, an Inuit-owned coffee company, helping to create a sustainable business model that champions cultural preservation and Inuit entrepreneurship.
